Never certain, never full of doubt.
He was a fool, an impatient fool. He placed the last brick on the hastily-prepared foundation of his house, too quickly, afraid it might collapse if he didn't. Poor, impatient fool. He smiled to himself, thinking he'd pulled it off. And so he slept in his new house, but as days passed, his sleeping hours became shorter. Uncertainty about the stability of the house clogged his narrow little mind. He didn't test the strength of the foundation, no he didn't, he was too foolish. The gullible man grabbed the kerosene can. In minutes, his house reeked of the stench of kerosene. One matchstick. Friction. In the blink of an eye, the flames greedily swallowed all his haste. There was no looking back. There was no point in crying. It was too late to save anything. All the fool could do when he saw his house burning was laugh. Laugh at his foolishness. Laugh at his haste. Laugh at his uncertainty. Laugh at his miserable state of sorrow. So he laughed.
With Love,
