Sustainability matters.

Still as beautiful?

Being a farmer is a tough, tough job.

APPRECIATE YOUR GREENS, or I'll kill you. (BWAHAHAHA!)

Anyway, we went to be trained to "plant crops", if that's what you call it. We had loads of fun at first, seeing that LifeScience joined us and that meant FOUR more 3e3 members. Then, we were first introduced to the course and then we started making our own plot. My group did a better job, mainly because we started first and the more "experienced" ones were in it.

You should have seen MuscleWoman Qwerty! The look on her face was priceless when she had to remove MANY GIGANTIC rocks. There were many nasty insects we saw, the types you don't usually see crawling around your house. It's the type you see when you're "asking for trouble", and one way to do that is to DIG. Woahh, measuring the plot land was pretty cool, especially the part when Geoffrey said that "there was some mathematical theory behind making the triangle". We, the e3 bunch, practically exploded keeping our answers. I bet Ginny and Matilda wanted to talk about the Pythagoras' Theorem right there and then. You could tell from the constipated expressions! :D

After that, there was this awesome "juice thingy" we were shown how to make. Basically, it's a mixture of fermented papaya/fishy guts/veggie and brown sugar. What you are supposed to do if you own some small holding is to dice papaya fruits, throw them in a pot, throw some brown sugar in, throw more papaya pieces and sugar, and wrap the pot with newspaper TIGHTLY.

7 days later, you get alchohol-smelling weird liquid which is supposedly good for plants. Then, what you're supposed to do is to add the liquid to the water you use to water the plants. Taa-dah, you get dashing, chio bu plants. :D

After Qwerty used her muscles to get a huge rock out of the plot, we saw the wood grub. I've seen that before in documentaries. Don't ask. I love documentaries. The grub was so fat I felt like giving it advice on reducing its cholesterol intake (relax, it was a joke). The nasty part is that some people in Papua New Guinea eat these grubs.

Question of the day:

Let's see if you can guess what they described the taste of the wood grub to be like. Don't have a clue? I suggest you go all the way to Chua Chu Kang, dig your hearts out and maybe you'll find one. Taste it and tell me.

Greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeens! :D

With Love,

Me, me, me, me.

Life's too short to get upset all the time.
Grammar Nazi, guilty as charged.

Pretty well-developed moral compass. Try me.
I admire sarcasm, intellect and brains, but I get awfully lame at times.
