The one and only.
Tiring day for me today. You know how people always nag that they feel weak after recovering from a fever or something? I fully sympathise with them now.
The whole day, I couldn't concentrate in class at all. It was the first time I was dozing off in school. I was practically torturing myself to stay awake during Physics. And you know what, the feeling's horrible, people!
It's Speech Day tomorrow. After a month of rehearsals to collect my prize and being in the supporting contigent, I'm really glad it's going to be over tomorrow. Yes, I'm happy that I got two prizes and all. I'm not ungrateful, yeah? (:
After school, I went straight home since there wasn't any Guides or Debate training. After
soooo long, I finally came back home EARLY. Big surprise. When I checked my mail, was surprised to see that I had 11 unread messages... (JET!)
I've been thinking a lot these past few days. I guess since I was practically DUMB with my voice sounding like a toilet-flush, I had some quiet-time to myself. I was just thinking about all the singlets I know. My lame buddy, Qwerty, is a singlet who's badly crushing on the SOTONG! Najmah, Ms Perfect, crushing on ________(fill in the blank). Zub, the girl with a certain twist, crushing on FOX. I know loads of them, and I was just thinking about how I actually really feel like being a singlet. Because in my case, I never really possessed any good qualities that makes me unique. I know, random thoughts. But all of a sudden, I realised that sometimes, being a singlet can be really hard on emotions.
When you're with the crowd,
You feel creepily alone.
When all of them are making noise,
You only hear the silence. It feels good to let out once in awhile. But due to some EMO craze last year, whenever someone becomes sad, he/she is immediately labelled as "emo". I find that bloody annoying. Each of us have these short periods of insanity and depression. But whenever I'm too engrossed in my thoughts, Najmah treats me like a psychopath. A social misfit who's constantly in her own world. Suddenly, I realise that I never liked the crowds. I like thinking to myself. I guess I snapped at Najmah today partly because of that. She was practically molesting me by patting my back and trying to find out why I was so "sad". What's wrong with thinking? (:
Oh, JET's the one. Jet, JET, JET. Labels: JET.
With Love,
